Manpreet was born and raised in Surrey, BC. He received his BA in Political Science from Simon
Fraser University and Juris Doctor from University of Sydney in Australia. Manpreet did not have
lawyers in his family or extended family and instead came to a career in law from a true passion for
justice. With a determination to serve his community, Manpreet returned to his roots and he was
called to the British Columbia Bar, and eventually joining Sovereign Law Group in early 2024.<\/p>\n
Manpreet prides himself on his ability to empathise with his clients, while remaining objective in
his legal advice for their individual circumstances as he firmly believes that no “one-size-fits-all”.
He also understands that court can be costly and take a long time, which can create further stress for
clients. He constantly aims to facilitate alternative dispute resolution and settlement. If the case
must go to court, Manpreet and the astute advocates at Sovereign Law Group are determined to
advance clients rights in the courtroom.<\/p>\n
But Manpreet understands that many clients are nervous when they walk into a litigation firm
because they have doubts about the complexities of the court procedure, and they hear the
prognostications from the ‘disgruntled litigant’ – his credence, give me the doubts, give me the
prognostications, and watch what I do \u2014 Aaron Rodgers, NFL Quarterback.<\/p>\n
When Manpreet is not practising law, he loves to spend time with his beloved grandmother, niece
and nephew, family and friends. Recreationally, he enjoys playing and watching sports, hiking,
reading philosophy, music, and is a keen but less than fantastic NFL fantasy football participant.<\/p>\n
